This is my entry for the big cats club contest Check it out ^_^
I have no life ... =_= I just sit on my computer and roleplay and draw man. I've been working hard to increase my reputation on DA, hopefully entering all these contests can do that for me ^_^ plus it keeps me busy. <3
~~~ Here we have a snow leopard watching a travelling tribe in the Himalayas. Often big cats hunt domesticated animals, which results in them being killed by humans, most big cats are endangered and the snow leopard is one of them. I personally don't like cats, though big cats are an exception
Done in adobe photoshop 7 approx ~ 15 hours work Art (c) talliesynn.
You asked for a critique to make your work better yet you hide the comment in favor of all your friend's 'squee'. This will not make your art better. You can hide this comment also.
Your critique isn't even under the proper critique option. I can hide it if i feel like it, I request the critique for me only, if I don't want other people to see it, then its ok :] I thanked you for it and I have tried to fix my work, I'm not imposing that your critique was bad or unfair in anyway. I thought it was good. Though I requested critique to be under DA new system so I hid it. If you want your critique to be seen. Then you can do it again if you like :] I'll judge whether it is fair or unfair and then it will be displayed under my work.
I tried the critique feature but didn't have over 100 words that is why I did it the old fashioned way. A critique that is constructive is nothing to be ashamed of.
DeviantART has partnered with FAIR to help promote equality through The Love Unites Shepard Fairey Equality Project. We're asking deviants to align themselves with this cause and have their work judged by Shepard Fairey himself!
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
